Sitting alongside my sculptural, process based and installation work, I make images using several techniques. Lately, I have focussed on pinhole photography, lumen prints and cyanotypes. With these analogue techniques I can draw in my surroundings, conscious of what is around me, the entities I am creating images with, including the sun, wind and rain.
Collage remains a ready way to work through ideas and I have periods of making as I explore visual combinations, colours and composition.
In my Chromoscope project, I built an image making machine to create light drawings in the darkroom.
