This lumen print was created by placing narrow leaf plantain on vintage sheet film and exposing the film in the sun.
This is a series of lumen prints of local plants that are hyperaccumulators, meaning they are able to absorb high levels of chemicals and metals through their roots and store these elements in their foliage. These plants are often able to grow in polluted soils, such as over-fertilised farmland (plantain and chicory), or along the edges of polluted waterways, such as willow.
