Rizosphere – Blue Plantain Lumen Print

These lumen prints are created by placing plantain on vintage sheet film and exposing the film in the sun. In this series, Rizosphere, I am making lumen images with plants that can tolerate hight levels of metals in the soil, even storing metals in their foliage. Plantain is a hyperaccumulator of cadmium.
